The victim of a homicide at 6:23 p.m. Monday, July 25, in the 400 block of Parallel Avenue has been identified, according to Kansas City, Kan., police.
The victim was Tyrone L. Wilson, 42, of Kansas City, Kan.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the location. When officers arrived at the 400 block of Parallel, they found Wilson dead in the parking lot from apparent gunshot wounds, a police spokesman said.
The criminal investigations division is searching for a heavy-set man with dreadlocks driving a gray Dodge Charger, the spokesman said.
The homicide is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s criminal investigations division, which is encouraging anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
