Police have identified the victim of a homicide on Sunday, Nov. 8, in the 2800 block of West 42nd Avenue.
The victim of the shooting was Steven M. Juarez, 43, a resident of Kansas City, Kan., a police spokesman said.
At 4:43 a.m. Sunday, Juarez was found inside an apartment complex, dead from an apparent gunshot, the spokesman said.
The Kansas City, Kan.., Police Department’s Major Case unit is investigating the case. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
