The victim of a homicide on June 22 has been identified, according to Kansas City, Kan., police.
A spokesman said the man who found dead from an apparent gunshot wound in the 1900 block of North 3rd Street was Lonnie V. Mitchell, 21, of Kansas City, Kan.
The incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kan., Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
