Police have released the name of a homicide victim from Monday, Oct. 19, in the 2100 block of Ruby Avenue.
A Kansas City, Kansas, police spokesman stated the victim was Aries Mickles, 20, a resident of Kansas City, Kansas.
Mickles, who was wounded in a shooting, went to a hospital, where he died of his injuries, according to police.
It was the 45th homicide recorded this year in Kansas City, Kansas, according to police.
The homicide is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit. Anyone with information was asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS, police stated.
