Police are investigating a fatal shooting on Saturday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the 11th and Orville Avenue around 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, on reports of a shooting, according to a Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department spokesman.
When they arrived, officers found a deceased male in his late 20s with apparent gunshot wounds, the spokesman stated. The victim was inside a vehicle.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS, the spokesman stated.
