A homicide Sunday night on James Street near the State Line is under investigation by Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department detectives, according to a police spokesman.
At about 11:10 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 23, officers were sent to James Street and State Line, responding to a call about a person shot inside a vehicle, the spokesman stated.
When they arrived, officers found a deceased male who was the victim of apparent gunfire, according to the spokesman.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department Major Case Unit, the spokesman stated.
