Kansas City, Kansas, police officers responded at 5:10 p.m. Friday to the 200 block of South 11th Street on a shooting call, according to the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
When they arrived, officers found a 19-year-old male who was deceased from an apparent gunshot wound, a polie spokesman stated.
The identity of the victim will be released when there is positive identification and family notification, according to police.
The case is being investigated as a homicide by the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department’s Major Case Unit. Police asked anyone with information to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
