Police reported a homicide at 12:55 a.m. Sunday, May 24, in the 2600 block of Delavan Avenue.
Officers responded to a call about a shooting and found a male victim, about 17-20 years old, with an apparent gunshot wound, according to the news release that was posted on the police department’s Facebook page.
The victim was dead upon arrival, police stated.
The police department’s Criminal Investigation Bureau is investigating. Police asked anyone with information to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
