An afternoon homicide on Friday in the 6200 block of Webster Avenue is being investigated by Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department detectives.
A police spokesman stated that Kansas City, Kansas, officers were sent to the area on reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found two adult females, both shot, outside a residence, the spokesman stated.
One woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was taken to a hospital in stable condition, the spokesman stated.
The incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit, according to the spokesman.
