Police are investigating a homicide about 3:35 p.m. Sunday, July 2, in the 4800 block of Parallel Parkway.
A police spokesman said there was a shooting at that location.
A preliminary investigation shows the victim was getting laundry out of his vehicle when he was approached by three males who may have been in their 20s, the spokesman said.
The suspects began shooting at the victim, the spokesman said. When officers arrived, the victim was found lying on the ground, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds, the police spokesman said.
There have been multiple shootings this weekend in Kansas City, Kansas.
