The 36th homicide of the year is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
Police officers responded to the 300 block of North 18th Street at 8:13 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, on a shooting, a police spokesman stated. Officers found a male who had been shot, the spokesman stated.
He was taken to a hospital where, about two hours later, he died from his injuries, according to police.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit is investigating.
