Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department detectives are investigating a homicide on Sunday evening.
Officers were dispatched to 15 N. 10th St. about 4:56 p.m. Sunday, and discovered an adult female deceased inside an apartment, according to a police spokesman.
A suspect fled on foot, but was located a short time later and was taken into custody, the spokesman stated.
