The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department is investigating a homicide in the 6800 block of Kaw Drive, a police spokesman stated.
Officers were dispatched to the 6800 block of Kaw Drive around 7:06 p.m. Thursday on a shooting investigation, the spokesman stated.
Upon arrival, they discovered a male who was an apparent shooting victim, according to the spokesman.
This incident remains under investigation by the KCKPD Major Case Unit, the spokesman stated. Anyone with information on this case is urged to call the TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477), according to the spokesman.
