A home invasion was reported about 9:33 a.m. Dec. 15 in the 2500 block of North 64th Street, according to police.
A woman in her 30s who was inside the home suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, Kansas City, Kan., police said.
The area is between Parallel Parkway and Leavenworth Road.
