A hit-and-run accident was reported at 9:25 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, on southbound I-35, a quarter of a mile south of Southwest Boulevard in Kansas City, Kansas, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s report.
A Jeep Grand Cherokee was southbound on I-35 when it was struck by an unknown vehicle, according to the trooper’s report.
The Grand Cherokee went off the roadway to the right, over a guardrail, and it rolled down an embankment and flipped, the trooper’s report stated. The vehicle came to rest on the driver’s side.
The driver of the Grand Cherokee, a 39-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, man, had a possible minor injury and was taken to a hospital in Kansas City, Kansas, according to the trooper’s report.
