An accident on eastbound I-70 near the 78th Street exit is being listed as a hit-and-run by the Kansas Highway Patrol trooper’s crash log.
Two vehicles were eastbound on a ramp to I-70 near 78th Street about 6:50 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, when a Toyota Camry was stopped for traffic and was struck from behind by a Chevrolet Camaro, according to the trooper’s report.
The Camaro then left the scene, the report stated.
The driver of the Camry, a 64-year-old Kansas City, Kansas, woman, was injured and taken to a hospital, the report stated.
