A hit-and-run accident was reported overnight near I-35 and Southwest Boulevard.
A driver of one of the cars involved in an injury-accident was sitting in the back seat of a patrol car to stay warm, with the door open slightly, when a Dodge Neon struck the patrol car, according to a social media post by the police chief.
