Kansas City, Kansas, firefighters responded to a house fire in the 2300 block of South 8th early this morning.
The crews first on the scene reported heavy smoke and fire, and attacked the fire, according to fire officials.
After a primary and secondary search confirmed everyone was out of the building, the fire was extinguished shortly before 6 a.m., according to officials.
