Heavy rain reported

Heavy rain with a thunderstorm was reported midday Saturday in Wyandotte County, including on I-635 near Kansas Avenue. At 12:30 p.m., radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm moving in a northeast direction at 40 mph, according to the weather service. The storm included nickel-sized hail.
