A prolonged hard freeze will likely damage susceptible plants and trees in areas where they have already started blooming, according to the weather service.
A big hike in temperatures then will take place beginning Thursday.
Today, the high will be near 42 with partly sunny skies and a southeast wind of 3 to 8 mph, according to the weather service.
Tonight, the low will be around 34, with a south southeast wind of 8 mph, the weather service said.
Thursday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 64, and a south wind of 8 to 14 mph, gusting to as high as 23 mph, according to the weather service.
Thursday night, expect a low of 53, with a south wind of 11 to 13 mph, gusting as high as 25 mph, the weather service said.
Friday, it will be partly sunny with a high near 68, according to the weather service, and a southwest wind of 8 to 10 mph becoming north northwest in the afternoon.
Friday night, the low will be around 37, the weather service said.
Saturday, it will be sunny with a high near 60, according to the weather service.
Saturday night, expect a low of 40, the weather service said.
Sunday, it will be mostly sunny with a high of 69, according to the weather service.
