Hard freeze again tonight, flurries possible

Unseasonably cold temperatures are expected this morning and Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

With the early start to the growing season, unprotected vegetation may be harmed, the weather service said.

Light snow will once again move through eastern Kansas and far western Missouri this morning, according to the weather service. Little or no accumulation is expected with this snow and no significant impacts are expected at this time.

Today, there is a 20 percent chance of snow before noon. The high will be near 35, the weather service said.

Tonight, it will be mostly cloudy, then gradually clearing, with a low of 21, according to the weather service.

Wednesday’s weather will be mostly cloudy with a high near 40, the weather service said.
