“Hansel and Gretel,” a musical play, returns to the Alcott Arts Center tonight and Saturday.
Show times are 7 p.m. June 13 and 14 at Alcott Arts, 180 S. 18th, Kansas City, Kan.

Photo exhibit opens today at Alcott
The Galleries at Alcott open at 6 p.m. with a reception for a photography exhibit by Sylvia Augustus. She is a resident of Kansas City, Kan.
Augustus, an architect who works in Kansas City, Mo., is a native of New York who moved to the Kansas City area 11 years ago. She spent five years working in Yosemite National Park as a preservation architect. Landscape photographs of the Sierra Nevada mountains are part of her photo exhibit.
The Alcott also will have art for sale in its other gallery. The art items were donated by past exhibitors and may include paintings, jewelry, ceramics and more. The sale is a fundraiser for the Alcott Arts Center.
