Half-million jackpot hit in northeast Kansas

The Kansas Lottery reports that a half-million Super Kansas Cash Jackpot was hit on Saturday night.

The ticket was sold in the northeast region of Kansas, which covers 21 counties, including Wyandotte County, according to a lottery spokesman.

The ticket, worth $528,413, had the winning numbers 5-7-10-21-22 Super Cash Ball 22.

Players have 365 days from the date of the draw to claim their prizes, according to a lottery spokesman.

  1. How much is the State of Kansas going to take back in taxes? And don’t you have to declare this amount as income on your Federal Income Tax? How nice for the winner and his/her new found friends and family. Whatever is left I would take for sure! Congrats to the winner!
