Jack Granath and Bill Reardon recently were named Employees of the Month by the Kansas City, Kan., Board of Education.
Reardon is a former state legislator who is the lobbyist for the school district. Granath is the branch manager of the South Branch Library, 3401 Strong Ave.
The nomination for Granath:
“The community has been flooding into the new South Branch Library since the doors opened on Sept. 26, 2012. The new building is a bright, welcoming and accessible location.
