The Geminid meteor shower may be visible in the skies in North America tonight, according to a NASA news release.
The meteor shower, according to NASA, is expected to peak overnight Dec. 13-14 with rates at one per minute under good conditions.
The meteors could be visible from 7:30 p.m. to dawn, depending on the amount of clouds overhead. The weather forecast says it may be partly cloudy at times tonight.
NASA will have a weblink to the meteor showers in case it is cloudy. Get more information about the Geminid meteor shower at https://www.nasa.gov/centers/marshall/news/news/releases/2017/heads-up-earthlings-the-geminids-are-here.html.
