Gas price war

Remember the gas price wars of the 1960s? A new Ameristar gas station opened recently near 55th and Leavenworth Road, sparking a gas price war with a gas station across the street on Wednesday. Gas prices went from 69 cents a gallon to 65 cents, and then to 45 cents a gallon on Wednesday. Traffic was backed up onto Leavenworth Road. They returned to normal levels on Thursday.
