Zachary T. Garrett, 23, was sentenced Friday morning in Wyandotte County District Court to 25 years in prison for rape and aggravated criminal sodomy of a 2-year-old girl.
The crimes occurred in June of 2016, according to the Wyandotte County District Attorney’s office.
The investigation by law enforcement began when agents of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security received a tip about posts by Garrett on Craigslist.
