Fun at the fair

The Wyandotte County Fair continued on Wednesday night, with free musical entertainment, carnival rides, food, a 4-H animal show and more.

The fair runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. each day from July 12 through July 16 at 13700 Polfer Road, Kansas City, Kan., in northwest Wyandotte County. The hours on Saturday, July 16, are noon to 10 p.m.

Admission is free to the fair. There is a $5 charge per vehicle for parking.

Different shows are scheduled each night of the fair. A free tractor pull is scheduled on Thursday night at the fair.

There is a charge for carnival rides and camel rides.
