Freezing drizzle, mixed with snow and sleet, is in this afternoon’s forecast, gradually changing to all snow after 5 p.m., the National Weather Service said.
The high today will be 23, and there is a 60 percent chance of precipitation. Around an inch of snow and sleet accumulation are in the forecast, according to the weather service.
KC Scout is reporting accidents throughout the Greater Kansas City area, starting with the southern part of the area.
