Freeze warning continues this morning, high fire danger this afternoon

A freeze warning continues until 10 a.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Frost and freezing temperatures will kill crops at these temperatures, according to the weather service. The hard freeze will end the growing season, the weather service said.

The temperature was 30 degrees, with a wind chill of 21, at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Today’s high will be 44 and tonight’s low will be 23. High will be in the 80s on Friday and Saturday.

There will be a high fire danger this afternoon because of ongoing dry weather conditions and gusty north winds, according to the weather service.

There is a chance there will be a record low Tuesday.

Today, it will be sunny, with a high near 44 and a north northwest wind of 8 to 10 mph, the weather service said.

Tonight, it will be clear, with a low of 23, according to the weather service. A north northwest wind of 5 mph will become calm in the evening.

Wednesday, it will be sunny, with a high near 55 and a west wind of 3 to 8 mph, the weather service said.

Wednesday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 37 and a calm wind becoming southwest around 6 mph after midnight, according to the weather service.

Thursday, it will be sunny, with a high near 70 and a west northwest wind of 6 to 9 mph, the weather service said.

Thursday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 44, according to the weather service.

Friday, it will be sunny, with a high near 81, the weather service said.

Friday night, it will be mostly clear, with a low of 53, according to the weather service.

Saturday, it will be sunny, with a high near 80, the weather service said.
