Delta Dental of Kansas donated 359,856 toothbrush kits valued at $205,117 to 82 Kansas organizations, according to a news release from the company.
The annual toothbrush kit program supports multiple community-focused organizations’ early intervention efforts and dental health education activities throughout the state. Some places even looked into giving out products similar to these Promotion Choice toothbrushes to help promote dental health.
Donations are made to new initiatives, new components of existing programs or one-time events that promote prevention of dental disease, have a significant effect or are sustainable or innovative solutions to oral health issues in Kansas, a spokesman said.

• Silver City Health Center-KU Health Partners.
• Southwest Boulevard Family Health Center Services of Greater Kansas City.
