Legends Outlets in Kansas City, Kan., is celebrating the holiday season with free classic movies on the big screen at Phoenix Theaters Legends 14.
The holiday movies series will kick off Thanksgiving night during Legends Outlets’ Moonlight Madness event with a midnight showing of “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation,” the movie voted by Legends Outlets’ more than 40,000 Facebook fans. The Legends Outlets, at I-435 and I-70 in Kansas City, Kan., is closed on Thanksgiving until 10 p.m. Thursday, when Moonlight Madness begins.
Every Saturday following Moonlight Madness, a family-friendly movie will be shown at 10 a.m. including seasonal favorites like “The Polar Express” and “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. and seating is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.

There also is a 12-day holiday giveaway with $1,600 in prizes from Dec. 1 to 12 at The Legends Outlets.
The 12-day holiday giveaway is back for the third consecutive year, providing Facebook fans the opportunity to win more than $1,600 in gift cards to a selection of its more than 100 designer retail destinations and restaurants.
The social media contest, on Legends Outlets Kansas City’s Facebook page, will launch Dec. 1 and run through Dec. 12.
Legends Outlets’ 42,000 current Facebook fans, along with new fans, can enter to win $100 gift cards from Dec. 1 – 11, as well as the grand prize, a $500 Legends Outlets gift card, on Dec. 12.
Facebook fans can enter to win each daily prize once every 24 hours by visiting the “12-Day Holiday Giveaway” contest tab on www.facebook.com/LegendsOutlets.
Each daily contest will start at 9 a.m. and end 24 hours later at 9 a.m. the following day. The contest is open to the public and there is no purchase necessary to enter. Winners will be chosen at random and notified via the email address they provide upon entering.
