Free haircuts are scheduled for Kansas City, Kansas, students from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2.
The haircuts will be at the Headlines Barbershop, 4327 State Ave., in the north parking lot.
Sponsored by Headlines and the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department Community Policing, the haircuts are free for students 18 and younger.
There will be haircuts, backpacks and a hot dog lunch.
Masks and social distancing will be required.
Headlines and the barbers are donating the space and their time.
