Reduced visibility may create difficulties in driving, according to the weather service. Motorists were advised to leave plenty of distance in front of them.
The fog is widespread throughout the area, according to the weather service. It is expected to lift by midday.
There is a possibility that low clouds, drizzle and light rain may linger through tonight, the weather service said. No other significant hazardous weather is expected through the weekend.
Today’s forecast calls for a high near 53, with a calm wind becoming southeast 5 to 8 mph in the morning, according to the weather service.
Tonight, there will be a low of 38 with a southeast wind of 7 mph becoming south southwest after midnight, according to the weather service.
Saturday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 55, and a south southwest wind of 3 to 7 mph, the weather service said.
Saturday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 35, and a calm wind becoming north around 6 mph after midnight, according to the weather service.
Mostly sunny skies with a high of 48 are in the forecast for Sunday, the weather service said. A northwest wind of 6 to 13 mph may gust as high as 22 mph.
Sunday night, the low will be around 29, according to the weather service.
Monday it will be mostly sunny with a high near 49, the weather service said.
