Flooding returns
A little water was in the fields and by the side of the road after 1 p.m. Tuesday on Wolcott Drive. Wolcott Drive is also K-5, which was closed at 7 Mile Creek in Leavenworth County. According to the National Weather Service, a flood warning is in effect through 3 p.m. Tuesday. A flash flood watch is in effect until 7 p.m. Tuesday. The weather service advised motorists not to drive through flooded roads but to turn around.
