Wyandotte County is under a flash flood warning and a flood advisory, according to the National Weather Service.
The flash flood warning is from 9:27 p.m. Sept. 10 to 1:30 a.m. Sept. 11 in Wyandotte County.
The flood advisory is in effect from 9:08 p.m. until 1:15 a.m. Sept. 11 in Wyandotte County.
Heavy rain will cause urban and small stream flooding in Wyandotte County and the surrounding area.
The weather service warned residents not to attempt to travel across flooded roadways, but to take alternate routes.
The thunderstorm warning expired at 9:30 p.m.
The BPU reported 1,289 customers without power at about 9:55 p.m.
