Kansas City, Kansas, firefighters responded to a fire Wednesday morning in the 1800 block of North 51st.
According to a spokesman, it was a basement fire in a duplex. The cause of the fire is undetermined, the spokesman said, and there were no injuries.
Firefighters made a successful interior attack on the fire, according to fire officials.
The Red Cross was called to assist residents.
