Kansas City, Kansas firefighters responded to an attic fire Friday morning in the 1600 block of North 36th Street, according to a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department.
The fire caused $5,000 in damage, and no injuries were reported, the spokesman stated.
The fire cause is under investigation and it was not known if it was related to lightning, the spokesman stated.
