A fatal shooting in an apartment building in the 400 block of Troup Avenue today is under investigation, according to a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department.
When officers arrived just before noon Tuesday, they discovered a deceased adult male inside an apartment, the victim of an apparent gunshot, the spokesman stated.
Detectives are investigating the shooting, according to the spokesman.
The spokesman stated that the incident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Major Case Unit.
Anyone with information on the case was urged to call the Crime Stoppers TIPS hotline at 816-474-TIPS, according to the spokesman.
All tips will remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward, the spokesman stated.
