A fatal accident was reported Friday night in the 200 block of North 86th Street in Kansas City, Kansas.
A blue motorcycle collided with a tree at that location, about 10 p.m. July 28, a spokesman for the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department stated.
According to an initial police investigation, a male drove the motorcycle southbound on North 86th Street, when it lost control and collided with a tree. The driver was dead when officers arrived.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending positive identification and family notification, according to police.
The accident is under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Traffic Support Unit and Critical Collision Response Team.
