A fatal accident was reported at 10:27 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, in the 6800 block of Kaw Drive in Kansas City, Kansas, according to a police spokesman.
A man in his 50s was found dead at the accident scene from injuries he sustained in the crash, the police spokesman stated.
The victim was driving a red Dodge Charger that collided with a gray Lincoln MKZ, according to police.
Two men in their 40s were traveling westbound on Kaw Drive in the Lincoln when they struck the Charger, which was turning eastbound on Kaw Drive, the spokesman stated.
The two occupants of the Lincoln MKZ had minor injuries and were taken to a hospital, the spokesman said.
The identity of the victim is being withheld until positive identification and family notification.
The Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department’s Traffic Support Unit-Critical Collision Response Team is investigating the accident.
