Breakfast with St. Nicholas is planned from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Holy Family parish, 513 Ohio Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. The event is sponsored by Resurrection School. The cost is $6 per person. The breakfast of pancakes and sausage will be catered by Chris Cakes.

The Gospel Non-Violence Study Group will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the Keeler Women’s Center, 2220 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kansas. The group is facilitated by Peg Burns Kerbawy.

The auditorium of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 420 Barnett, Kansas City, Kansas, will be the site of a Christmas in Kolograd Dance from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15. Tickets are $10 for adults, with those 12 and younger free. There will be sausage sandwiches and beverages for sale. Dance music will be by the Kolograd band.

The KCKCC Winter Choral Concert will take place from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 94th and State Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas. The choir will perform the Paul Mealor Requiem (The Souls of the Righteous), written for the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. It is the third performance of the work written in 2018, and previously was performed only in England and New York. Members of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1300 N. 18th St., Kansas City, Kan., will observe the third Sunday in Advent at 10 a.m. Dec. 16. A study session will be held immediately after the morning service.

The Historic Westheight Holiday Homes Tour will be from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9. This year the tour includes five homes, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church as well as Wyandotte High School. The tour begins at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1300 N. 18th St. in Kansas City, Kansas. Tickets are $10. Go to www.historicwestheight.org for more information and to purchase tickets online. Proceeds will benefit the neighborhood association and St. Paul’s Food Pantry. Westheight Manor is listed as historically significant in the National Register of Historic Places and the Register of Historic Kansas Places.

The annual Christmas Eve service will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24, at Wyandotte County Christian Church, 13700 Leavenworth Road, Kansas City, Kansas. The candlelight service will include the singing of Christmas carols and a message from Pastor Kaleb Sackett. Visitors are welcome.

Wyandotte United Methodist Church, 7901 Oakland Ave., will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight communion service at 7 p.m. Dec. 24.
