A light supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. The facilitator will be Jennifer Halling, Benedictine novice, from Mount St. Scholastica in Atchison, Kansas. The Sanctuary Place, 3500 Dodson Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, will hold traditional, informal Christmas worship services in December, followed by a light meal. The worship services will be at 4 p.m. Dec. 3, 10, 17 and 24, followed by a dinner at 5 p.m. The Sanctuary Place is a new congregation affiliated with the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. All are welcome.
Members of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1300 N. 18th St., Kansas City, Kan., will observe the second Sunday in the season of Advent at 10 a.m. Dec. 10. An Advent service of lessons and carols will be held at 5 p.m.
