The Altar Society of The Cathedral of St. Peter will hold its annual Nativity Display from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, in the parish center at 409 N. 15th St., Kansas City, Kan. There is free admission. There also will be a holiday bake sale and refreshments.

Judson Baptist Church, 8300 State Ave., Kansas City, Kan., plans a Christmas Cantata at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11. Keeler Women’s Center, 2220 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kan., will hold a special Advent retreat for women, “Finding Hope in Uncertainty,” from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7. A light supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. Kathy Keary, Keeler Women’s Center volunteer and spiritual director, will facilitate the retreat. There will be time for sharing, reflection and prayer.
