Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Knights of Columbus will hold a breakfast fundraiser following the 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Masses on Sunday, May 22, at the church, 2203 Parallel. Donations are $6 for adults, and $4 for children 10 and younger.

A combined choir concert for Blessed Sacrament and Christ the King Catholic Church choirs will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 22, at Christ the King Church, 53rd and Leavenworth Road, Kansas City, Kan.

Judson Baptist Church, 8300 State Ave., Kansas City, Kan., holds Sunday morning services at 11 a.m. each Sunday, and Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m.

The Keeler Women’s Center, 2220 Central Ave., Kansas City, Kan., will hold a Scripture Group and Bible study from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesdays. Bible sharing and reflection, lectio and journaling will be led by Heather Neds, pastoral minister.
A Gospel Non-Violence group will meet from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday, May 23, at Keeler Women’s Center, 2220 Central Ave. The group is facilitated by Peg Burns Kerbawy, developer of “Our Golden Thread, Gospel Nonviolence Curriculum Materials.”

A Memorial Day Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, May 30, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 38th and State Avenue, Kansas City, Kan. The Rev. Jeremiah Spencer will celebrate the Mass. Ed Grisnik will play liturgical music.

Risen Lamb International Church of the Nazarene, located in the Turner area of Kansas City, Kan., has announced the opening of the Risen Lamb Prayer Room and Retreat Center. On location at their church at 5301 Metropolitan Avenue, the prayer room and retreat center is open to the public for daytime retreats. All individuals or small groups seeking a quiet, sacred space to gather, pray, meditate, journal or read resources about prayer are welcome. The prayer room provides a peaceful space for solitude or can be scheduled in advance for groups of up to eight people. Guests seeking spiritual guidance may schedule a time of spiritual direction with one of the pastoral staff, and groups may inquire about scheduling a member of the pastoral team to lead or speak at a retreat. The Sisters, Servants of Mary, plan a summer festival from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at the sisters’ convent grounds at 800 N. 18th St., Kansas City, Kan. Funds raised at this event benefit the Sisters, Servants of Mary, who do not charge for nursing care for individuals and families. At the festival, there will be tacos, tamales, Italian sausage, barbecue sandwiches and desserts. There will be games, booths and cookbooks for sale.

Stony Point Christian Church, 149 S. 78th St., will hold Sunday worship services at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. May 22. Sunday school is at 9:50 a.m.

St. Mary-St. Anthony Catholic Church, 615 N. 7th St., Kansas City, Kan., plans an ethnic festival from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at Bishop Forst Hall. Featured will be German, Irish and Hispanic cuisine. The event includes a bounce house and games. Also, there will be a disc jockey.

Members of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1300 N. 18th St., Kansas City, Kan., will observe the second Sunday after Pentecost May 29. The Rev. Machrina Blasdell, an adjunct professor of philosophy and religion at Park College, Parkville, will be the guest clergywoman. The Rev. Dixie Roberts Junk, the priest-in-charge at St. Paul’s, is on a sabbatical this summer. The service in English will be at 10 a.m. and in Spanish at 7 p.m.
