Exits closed near K-5 and 18th Street

Exits were closed about 10:47 a.m. Wednesday morning near K-5 and 18th Street and southbound I-635 to North 18th Street in Kansas City, Kansas, according to KC Scout. According to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, police chief, outside agencies were involved in a pursuit, and then there was an accident at K-5 and 18th Street. A suspect struck a car and the driver of that vehicle has serious injuries, according to the chief’s post.
