Residents should drink plenty of fluids and check on neighbors and relatives. Never leave children and pets unattended in a car for any period of time, the weather service advised.
Tonight, the low will be around 80, with a south wind of 7 to 11 mph, according to the weather service.
Sunday, the high will be near 95 with a heat index as high as 105, the weather service said. There will be a southwest wind of 7 mph.
Sunday night, there will be a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low of 75, and an east wind of 3 to 7 mph, according to the weather service.
