Evacuation in Fairfax area reported after tractor-trailer accident

An evacuation has been reported in the Fairfax area, at 300 Kindleberger Road, Kansas City, Kansas, after a tractor-trailer accident, according to a social media post by the Kansas City, Kansas, Fire Department. A tractor-trailer ran into a liquid oxygen unit, according to the Fire Department’s social media post. The area has been restricted to fire and law enforcement. Hazmat and fire crews were at the accident. Kindleberger has been closed in the area. The leak has now been shut off, according to authorities.
