“Conscious Conversation: Minority Entrepreneurship, Economics and Education,” will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at the Performing Arts Center, Kansas City Kansas Community College, 7250 State Ave., Kansas City, Kansas.
The free event will recognize Dr. LaToria Chinn of International Speedway Corp., winner of the Legacy of Excellence Award.
The hosts of this event are Kira Cheree and Entrepreneur Business Basics. Panelists who are scheduled to participate in a discussion will include Dell Gines Sr., community development for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City; Dr. Charles Foust, superintendent of the Kansas City, Kansas, Public Schools; and Mark Dupree, Wyandotte County district attorney.
