Dry Friday followed by showers on Saturday

Today’s forecast will be dry and cloudy, with a high of 52, but the rainy weather will return Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

More rain also is likely off and on through next week, according to the forecast. The weekend weather isn’t expected to be severe.

With more rain in the forecast, there is a potential that some streams may flood, the weather service said.

Today, the forecast is cloudy with a high near 52, and a north wind of 6 to 8 mph, the weather service said.

Tonight, expect mostly cloudy skies with a low of 42 and an east northeast wind of 6 to 9 mph, according to the weather service.

Saturday, there is a 30 percent chance of showers before 1 p.m., the weather service said. The high will be near 58, with an east wind of 7 to 10 mph.

Saturday night, there is an 80 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 a.m., then showers between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m., followed by showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 3 a.m., according to the weather service. The low will be around 50, with an east northeast wind of 9 mph. Between a tenth and a quarter of an inch of rain is possible.
Sunday, there is a 70 percent chance of showers before noon, possibly a storm with rain between noon and 1 p.m., then storms and rain after 1 p.m., the weather service said. The high will be near 64 with an east southeast wind of 6 to 8 mph. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch are possible.

Sunday night, there is a 40 percent chance of showers and storms, according to the weather service. The low will be around 51. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch are possible.

Monday, it will be mostly sunny with a high near 66, the weather service said.

Monday night, the low will be around 47, according to the weather service.

Tuesday, there is a 50 percent chance of showers, with a high near 63, the weather service said.
